Rota — Privacy Policy

Rota (also “轮班表”, the “App”) is a shift-scheduling app developed by muyang (Liyuan Yang) (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data the App handles and how. Rota is offline-first: the schedule and the personal information you enter stay on your device.

1. Our approach

The App works with no account and, for its core features, no internet connection. We run no business server, and we do not collect, upload, sell, or share the schedule data you create.

2. Data stored only on your device (we never receive it)

The following stays in local storage on your device and is never transmitted to us or anyone else:

• Rosters, shifts, and any names you enter
• Shift types, settings, your in-app local identity, reminder settings, and shift-alarm rules
• Files you import (PDF / Excel / CSV / supported images) — parsed on-device only
• Backups you create (local .rota files)

You can erase this data anytime in the App (Settings → clear all data) or by uninstalling.

3. Data that leaves your device

a) In-app purchases (Google Play / App Store versions). To sell and restore the optional one-time “Pro” upgrade, the App uses RevenueCat, a purchase-management service. When you make or restore a purchase, RevenueCat receives your purchase/transaction records and an anonymous, app-generated identifier, and may process technical data such as IP address and device model. This data is encrypted in transit and used only to manage your Pro entitlement. The payment itself is handled by Google Play or Apple — we never receive your card or bank details. b) Rewarded ads (Chinese Android version only — NOT the Google Play or App Store versions). The version distributed through Chinese Android channels lets you optionally watch a rewarded video to unlock Pro for a limited time. When you choose to watch one, a third-party rewarded-ad SDK loads the ad and may collect device identifiers and ad-interaction data under its own privacy policy. This happens only when you tap to watch. The Google Play and App Store versions contain no ads.

4. Device permissions

• Calendar — to add your shifts to your device calendar (only if you choose)
• Notifications — for ordinary pre-shift reminders
• Alarms (iOS 26 or later) — to schedule the shift-alarm rules you create; the rules and derived alarm times stay on your device
• Storage / files — to read a roster file you select for import
• Install packages — only on the direct-download (website) version, to install app updates

5. Sharing

We do not sell your data. The only third parties involved are the purchase processor (RevenueCat / Google / Apple) and, in the Chinese Android version, the rewarded-ad SDK — each only for the function described above.

6. Retention and deletion

• On-device data: under your control; clear it in the App or uninstall anytime.
• Purchase data held by RevenueCat: email muyang7513@gmail.com to request deletion.

7. Children

Rota is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; the date above shows the current version.

Rota(轮班表,下称“本应用”)是由 木昜(杨礼源)(下称“我们”)开发的轮班排班应用。本政策说明本应用如何处理数据。本应用以离线为先:你录入的排班与个人信息都保存在你的设备上。

1. 我们的原则

本应用无需账号,核心功能也无需联网。我们不运行业务服务器,不收集、不上传、不出售、不共享你创建的排班数据。

2. 仅存于你设备的数据(我们从不接收)

以下数据只保存在你设备的本地存储中,从不传输给我们或任何第三方:

• 排班表、班次，以及你录入的姓名
• 班次类型、设置、应用内局部身份、提醒设置和班次闹钟规则
• 你导入的文件（PDF / Excel / CSV / 支持的图片）——仅在设备本地解析
• 你创建的备份(本地 .rota 文件)

你可随时在应用内清除这些数据(设置 → 清空全部数据),或卸载应用。

3. 离开设备的数据

a) 应用内购买(Google Play / App Store 版本)。 为售卖并恢复可选的一次性“Pro”买断,本应用使用购买管理服务 RevenueCat。当你购买或恢复购买时,RevenueCat 会接收你的购买/交易记录与一个由应用生成的匿名标识符,并可能处理 IP 地址、设备型号等技术数据。该数据传输中加密,仅用于管理你的 Pro 权益。支付本身由 Google Play 或 Apple 处理,我们绝不接触你的银行卡或银行信息。 RevenueCat 隐私政策:revenuecat.com/privacy。

b) 激励广告(仅国内安卓版本 —— Google Play / App Store 版本不含)。 经国内安卓渠道分发的版本允许你主动选择观看激励视频以限时解锁 Pro。当你选择观看时,第三方激励广告 SDK 会加载广告,并可能依其自身隐私政策收集设备标识符与广告交互数据。该行为仅在你点击观看时发生。Google Play 与 App Store 版本不含任何广告。

4. 设备权限

• 日历 —— 将你的班次加入设备日历(仅在你选择时)
• 通知 —— 用于普通班前提醒
• 闹钟（iOS 26 及以上） —— 用于调度你创建的班次闹钟规则；规则和计算出的响铃时间都留在设备本地
• 存储 / 文件 —— 读取你选择导入的排班文件
• 安装应用 —— 仅官网直链版本用于安装应用更新

5. 数据共享

我们不出售你的数据。涉及的第三方仅有购买处理方(RevenueCat / Google / Apple),以及国内安卓版本中的激励广告 SDK —— 各自仅用于上述功能。

6. 数据保留与删除

• 设备本地数据: 完全由你掌控;可随时在应用内清空或卸载。
• RevenueCat 持有的购买数据: 发邮件至 muyang7513@gmail.com 申请删除。

7. 儿童

Rota 不面向 13 岁以下儿童,也不会有意收集其数据。

8. 变更

我们可能更新本政策;顶部日期为当前版本。
